Process Fab is a full service Aerospace Manufacturing firm possessing Design and Build capabilities for a host of Ground Support, Tooling and Space Craft Sub Systems Components. We have in-house Designers, Stress Analysts, Fabricators, Welders, Structural and Sheet Metal Technicians, Precision Machinists, Assemblers and Jig & Fixture Tool Builders all working together to support our vast product line. PFI is a small business of approximately 180 employees currently running two shifts, 11.5 hours per shift to provide an almost ‘round the clock manufacturing service to our customers. Our staff and hours of operations afford our customers a value added service for design and build projects.

When considering a supplier’s capability for projects such as this, where the activity includes close tolerance fabrication, certified welding, precision machining and testing, look no further than PFI as our core business capability is perfectly suited to support projects of this type, and we have a history to prove it!

We posses all of the in house capabilities required for the performance of this program with the exception of thermal treatments i.e., heat treating or plating operations. PFI in conjunction with Stork Metallurgical Testing, will at our facilities in Santa Fe Springs, California perform radiography, ultrasonic and liquid penetrant inspections as required on all weldments manufactured for this project. Utilizing these well qualified outside services at our facility affords us the opportunity to correct any non relevant indication and or polish or clean up, thereby eliminating any indication that would other wise be noted as an indication. This process eliminates the need for shipping parts back and forth from fab shop to testing house and further mitigates risk by reduced handling. As an added benefit, it also aids in the maintenance of project schedule while ultimately providing certifiable non-destructive testing examinations on all welds and or machined parts as required.
