The PFI manufacturing facility and workflow throughput has been organized following lean manufacturing principles. Lean manufacturing is applied across all operations from design engineering, tooling, parts manufacturing and finishing, through product assembly and inspection. PFI integrates Solid Model design capabilities with contemporary production equipment, to include CNC 5-axis high speed milling machines, advanced Metrology capabilities, certified aircraft assembly technicians, environmentally controlled facilities and a CAD/CAM network that provides design and engineering analysis, CNC programming and certification support.

PFI utilizes the latest in aerospace structures manufacturing equipment and aircraft structures assembly technology. The PFI real time manufacturing processes and systems enable us to satisfy our customers’ demanding contract requirements for commercial, military and space flight hardware. Through the integration of our advanced technology solutions, our customers benefit from increased assembly and mechanical efficiency, productivity and product quality.

Campus Expansion

Our recent campus expansion encompasses (7) buildings, housing all the interrelated divisions of PFI’s Tooling, Fabrication, Machining, Metrology, Assembly, and Engineering divisions. Air freight services are available from 3 local airports.
