The Tool Crib Attendant will be responsible for ordering, storing, issuing, sharpening, and maintaining all tools and holders for the machine shop. He will be required to use various measurement instruments, sharpening tools, grinders, hand tools, etc. to accomplish his task as Tool Crib Attendant.  He must be detail oriented, and a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision.  As part of a larger team, he must communicate effectively with shop personnel to ensure timely service to machine shop personnel to prevent machine down time. He will use drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions as well as exercising judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals.  Based on instructions/information given, he will meet the requirements of his job. He must meet deadlines and document progress. He must be flexible, dependable, time conscious, and be able to move from project to project with minimal supervision.  He must work closely with the shop management.

• Working ability to apply all applicable safety requirements to comply with regulatory agencies.

• 10 years in the tool grinding industry.
