Capabilities
Even during these tough
economic times, PFI still offers many benefits to its customers including a 24/7
operation to ensure schedule adherence and reduced lead-time. PFI
provides quicker runtime with (3) large high-speed 24,000 RPM 5-Axis nutating
head machines and greater capacities offering (8) large 5 axis milling Gantries
up to 30' of travel. We've expanded our quality engineering group, now utilizing
(8) laser trackers, (6) Faro Arms, & (2) CMMs to benefit customers with
reverse engineering, inspection, and tool building capabilities anywhere in the
country. Our recent campus expansion encompasses (7) buildings, housing all the
interrelated divisions of PFI's Tooling, Fabrication, Machining, Metrology,
Assembly, and Engineering Departments.

FLIGHT HARDWARE
EXPANSION
PFI continues to
see steady growth in the field of Flight Hardware for military, aerospace and
commercial programs. Since our 2009 expansions have taken hold of the 18,000 sq
ft building, PFI is now opening a new 27,000 sq ft facility to support our
growth in the Airframe, Satellite and Spacecraft Structures Assembly. All of our
technicians are trained Airframe Assembly Mechanics with systems integration
experience. This operation will provide added value to our customers looking for
Flight Hardware Assembly turn key
solutions.
